WW1 Dog Fighting

What can I say?  “Blue Max”, either the original board game or the miniatures rules brought out later. You can even play it online at youplay.it.

I use 1/300 scale aircraft from Heroics and Ros, but (the shame!) I don’t put the undercarriage on!  Looking down onto the table you don’t see the underside of the aircraft and the undercarts tended to be too fragile for gaming.

WW1 Land

I’ve just recently bought a set of rules called “Bloody Picnic” by Dillon Browne and they have fired an interest in the many batttles of the Great War.  so far I haven’t had a chance to put them into action, but I intend to have a go using card bases before I start buying even more lead!
